Gold Auctions in Kerala

About Gold Auctions in Kerala

Kerala isn't just a large market for gold loans, it's where the industry itself was built. Several of India's largest gold-loan NBFCs, including Muthoot Finance, Manappuram Finance, and Kosamattam Finance, are headquartered in Kerala, and the state remains part of the southern belt alongside Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Telangana that together accounts for roughly three-quarters of all gold loan outstanding in India as of March 2026. With 193 live and upcoming auctions currently listed across cities including Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, Kozhikode, and Thrissur, Kerala is among the most active states on the eGoldTiger platform.

Bidders anywhere in Kerala can register once, complete KYC and EMD requirements, and bid across any city in the state at MCX-linked gold prices. Because gold loans are deeply embedded in Kerala's household finance habits — often used as a short-term liquidity tool rather than a last resort — auction volume here stays consistently high. Enabling alerts is the best way to catch new listings as they're published.
