About Gold Auctions in Delhi
Delhi's gold market is shaped by its bullion trade as much as its lending activity. The Delhi trade serves both deep traditional buyers particularly Punjabi, Marwari, and Bania households who treat gold as their primary household savings instrument and a growing population of NRIs returning for wedding season, centered around historic hubs like Chandni Chowk and Karol Bagh. With 37 live and upcoming auctions across the NCR region, Delhi combines dense bank branch coverage with some of India's highest per-household gold holdings.
Bidders in and around Delhi can register once, complete KYC and EMD requirements, and participate in auctions at MCX-linked gold prices. Given the concentration of institutions in the capital, new listings are added frequently — enabling alerts is the best way to catch short-notice auctions.
